3. How we choose what to recommend

Recommendations are based on what suits a beginner learning on a 10-hole diatonic harmonica in the key of C. I have personally played every harmonica listed on that page. Recommendations reflect how each one felt to learn on, not what pays the most commission.

We are not paid by any manufacturer to feature their instrument, and no brand has a say in what appears on that page.

4. Prices

Prices shown are approximate and change often. Always check the current price on the retailer’s page before buying.

5. Where you buy is up to you

You are welcome to buy the same harmonica anywhere else, including a local shop. The "what to look for" section on that page exists so you can judge any harmonica yourself.
